Swagbucks

For those of you who dont have Swagbucks yet...please click on my right side banner to sign up.

Swagbucks is a google type search engine that rewards YOU for using them. I generally get 2-3 swagbucks a day, and you can start redeeming around 45. For 45 swagbucks you can get a $5 amazon gift card (my fav.).

So if you average just 2 swagbucks a day, in a month you will have made enough for a $5 giftcard, with the leftovers you will be 1/2 way to another! Granted, its not a ton, but $5 is more than other search engines pay you a month.

QFC deals

Check out Centsible in Seattle for some of the better deals happening at QFC this week.

...I am working on gathering my resources to start doing some QFC deals...

New to Blogging

Hey anyone and everyone that is reading this. I hope you enjoy the postings I am trying to regularly get out. Please subscribe to my blog so I know you are here. Also, feel free to email me or post questions (other people probably have the same questions). I am also open to suggestions on stores to cover. I personally dont shop at QFC, but I know that is one place people probably want some deals from. If so, let me know so I can start doing some.

Finding Coupons

I personally recommend signing up at Hot Coupon World.

Not only do they have many deals posted, but they have a coupon database. This allows you to search for certain coupons. You can type in kelloggs and it will show you all the coupons available. You can even narrow it down to IP coupons so you can immediately print some off.

There is also a TON of beauty items for BOGO. Pair this sale with coupons for a great deal. (most stores allow use of 2 coupons for a BOGO sale, but some do not)

All about Rite Aid

One of the best things about shopping Rite Aid is their SCR program. You can either mail in your rebates or submitt them online. I have never mailed them in, as it is so easy to do it online. Simply GO HERE to create and account and see current offers.

You need to keep your reciepts to enter information online. I always keep my reciepts until after I have my check in hand. I also enter in every reciept I get, even if I dont think it is part of a rebate. You never know if some clearance item you bought counts towards something.

Often check back for a special coupon that Rite Aid puts out. Normally there is a $5/$25 coupons to print out. If the coupon doesnt state "use after all manufactures coupons" you can actually pay very little out of pocket. These coupons are GREAT when purchasing Free after rebate (SCR) items!

Rite Aid ads have their own coupons, but I have never been able to use an in ad plus a manufactures at Rite Aid.

$20 in Nestle Coupons

Get $20 in Nestle Coupons plus a back to school calendar.

A few good coupons

In this past weeks paper there was a coupon for $4 off an Schick Intuition razor or refill. This is an amazing coupon. I actually just went to ebay and have 20 more headed my way. Rite Aid has these on sale next week (aug. 16-22) for BOGO. They are regularly priced around 9.99. Use 2 coupons and get 2 for $1.99!

In next weeks insert there will be a coupon for $3 off Goodlife cat or dog food. Walmart sells the cat food for around $4 a bag for the smaller size. This makes $1 cat food! If your cats are not picky, this is the way to go. I did this deal with about 20 coupons around 8 months ago, so I am definately glad to see the coupon back.

All about Walgreens

Here are some tips/ FAQ's about Walgreens...

RR= Register Reward. These are coupons that print out at the register when you buy certain products. They are for use on your next purchase. DO NOT use them on the same item you just bought, or you will NOT get another RR. You can only get 1 RR per promo per transaction. IE~ Venus razors have a $5 RR, you can buy 1 and the the $5, but if you buy 2 you still only get $5, not $10. So if you really like a RR deal, do more than 1 transaction!

Walgreens accepts printable coupons

You can use a manufactures coupon AND a walgreens coupon on the same item. So if Walgreens has a Pert plus coupon for $1 off, and you have a manufactures coupon for $1 off, you can use both and get $2 off (one of the many things I LOVE about walgreens)

When you pay at the register, hand over manufactures coupons first, then give them their store coupons (this way if you end up getting money from a product the machine wont beep)

You can not get cash back. If you are buying a Money Maker item, you must get something else to "absorb the overage"

If you are using 10 coupons, you must have atleast 10 items! Using a RR as a coupon counts. So often I will find a clearance pencil for .10 or something like that to make my count right.

When your not happy with a product...

When you are not happy with a product you bought, you should DEFINATELY call the company!

Recently I got a can of soup that the chicken was super fatty, I called Progresso and they sent me coupons to replace my product and some discount coupons.

A few weeks ago I called Ziploc because my vacuum bags lost their suction while in the freezer. I was given tips on how to avoid that, and they sent me coupons! I was afraid I would only get vacuum sealer coupons, I recently was given a foodsaver, so that would not have been cool. BUT...the coupons are also good for the zip and steam or produce bags!!! I was sent 3 of them to replace the products I had purchased (for dirt cheap with coupons!)

So if you are not happy, you probably got a fluke, and the company will generally try to make it better!

Albertson's Cat. deals

So I went to Albies tonight to see what all the fuss was about. I did 2 transactions of baby items. One went through great! The second, not so much...but it was for stuff I needed, so oh wells

#1~ 2 packages of diapers (used for going out) ~$10 each
1 package of pull-ups (DD1 is PLing!)~$10
= $32.64 after tax
But...I got $15 cat's for spending $30 of approved products and another $5 towards my next baby item purchase.

#2~ Similac formual $21.49-$1Q-$5 check
4 Beech nut toddler meals $1.39-$1Q
-$5/$25 Q from Rite Aid (Albies takes comp. Q's)
Total was $12.05

Because my total wasnt $25 AFTER coupons I didnt get the $5 baby cat?!?! I always thought it was before Q's!

So anyways I spent $44.69, but got $20 cat Q's back, so not too bad

Then I went to Fred Meyer and picked up 6 of the $1 complete salad bags!!! Now that made me happy :)
